Designers' Art Exhibition

Do you count yourself among the designers, photographers, creative directors and illustrators who create fine art but don't often have a venue to exhibit your work? Do you wish you could share what is undoubtedly a labor of love with other people inside and outside of your professional circles?
Here's your chance!
Our exhibit is about doing something for the love of it. Rediscovering or developing the force that made us choose the profession that we did. Going beyond the everyday to what is, for some of us, a more spiritual plane. Producing something that is strictly for fun or that could net us some additional income. Whatever the reason, we take the skills that serve us well in the work place and expand on them, much to our delight and often to the delight of others.
Exhibition Date: March 20, 2009
Exhibition Location: Artery 717, Old Town Alexandria. Formerly an industrial site, the building now houses the gallery and a piano restoration business. The gallery's expansive walls and high ceilings allow for the largest paintings and sculptures.
